In loving, hateful memory

“Empty your soul from pride and honor”
Your voice caressed my ignorant ears.
“Empty your mind from pain and fear”
You whisper to me, as you spit your vile.

I listened smiling, I listened eagerly,
I danced with joy when i saw your eyes.
I trusted your words, I trusted your hands,
when moonlight shone on your canine smile.

“Immortal you’ll be, immortals together”
A promise like music to my tender feelings.
“We’ll rule the world, we’ll be truly one”
Your fangs like a love-kiss in my white flesh sunk.

Your eyes have lost now, their initial spark,
but your smile will shine in the night eternal;
it’s frozen in place through thick iron nails;
nails that I’ve hammered deep in your flesh.

“You must be really clever to rob me of feelings”
I scream till blood spills from your ears.
“You must be real proud, you’ve made me a beast”
A wooden stake to your heart I thrust.

On top of my fireplace a frame stands;
your teeth I’ve pull out, your smile I’ve kept.
In nights like this, in the moonlight it shines.
A memo to remember no one to trust.
