Fiery Passion

Note: Again this was written for a small contest in CAD forums. As you imagine, a great thanks is due for this community.

Love, they say, stems from the heart. But from mine not a beat has escaped for ages, and yet I long for you.
The blood in my veins is vile and stale. But my pale skin still flush with joy, when I remember our time together.
I am the Lord of me, not my instincts. On this towering skyscraper it is only me that orders my rigid self to stay.
I see you coming from afar. You’re coming fast today. I know you missed me, I missed you too…
Feel free to let your warm hands embrace me, a lover’s hug to melt away my frozen fears.
Your wide blanket I see you unfold. And I wait for it to cover my thoughts with your gentle caress.
I feel your hungry eyes, devouring my skin. Tear it apart, it’s only an empty husk, inside I hide my love for you.
A warm breath whispers in my ear, a tale of deep sorrow, my life. I bare you my mind, for you to hear.
Your fiery lips burn me with passion. Each kiss you give for each I stole.
Engulf what is left from me and hold me fast. Your blazing soul I have forgotten, my guide to life.
I see you have truly awakened, my body is now yours. I let your fiery rays roam my form.
My body’s long dead, my soul long gone. And through your deep love, I’m completely undone.
The fire that now burns me is our marital witness. I give you as gift the ashes that were my dreams.
On top of a great skyscraper, only a mouse saw, a lone vampire embracing the dawn.
