Defy Mundane
They say that miracles are lies…
I scoff at them;
for today I saw a flower’s bloom,
life’s smile.
They argue about our moment’s meaning…
I burst in laughter;
and as I watch them argue over,
I blow you a kiss.
They pray at gods up in the skies…
But it eludes me;
a human hug have they received,
to dispel their fears?
And if this God really exists…
Their love is fake;
his face they scar so as to build
their ugly temples.
They claim god made us in his image…
But they don’t see;
the human soul that he all gave us,
we’re all divine.
They scream and preach, they sweat and panic…
I stay calm.
All tiny gods if stand and think
perform pure magic.
